VNC Access and Custom ISO Support Now Available on GreatHost VPS 🖥️🚀

We have officially implemented integrated VNC console access for all KVM VPS on GreatHost 🖥️

This upgrade introduces full remote graphical control directly from the control panel, allowing users to interact with their virtual machines at BIOS level, boot stage, and operating system level without requiring SSH access.

KVM virtualization provides hardware-level virtualization using QEMU, meaning each VPS runs with its own dedicated kernel and fully isolated virtual hardware ⚙️

With VNC console integration, you now have direct framebuffer access to the VM just as if you were physically connected to the machine.

This enables:

• Installation of operating systems that require graphical interfaces 🪟

• Full Windows Server or Windows Desktop deployments

• Recovery operations when SSH is unavailable 🔧

• Boot troubleshooting and kernel debugging

• BIOS and bootloader configuration

In addition, we have added support for custom ISO mounting 💿

Users can now upload or attach custom ISO images and boot directly from them. This allows installation of:

• Windows Server editions

• Custom Linux distributions 🐧

• Security or forensic operating systems

• Recovery environments

• Any system requiring manual installation

The ISO mounting system is fully integrated into the virtualization stack and works natively with the KVM hypervisor. No external dependency or third-party mounting system is required.

With this update, GreatHost VPS are no longer limited to predefined templates. You now have full control over what you install and how you deploy it 🔥

This moves GreatHost closer to a fully independent infrastructure model, giving users real virtualization freedom instead of restricted container-based environments.
